The Eiffel Tower Rivet - LIMITED EDITIONS

The Tower celebrates its rivets.

Built in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel for the Exposition Universelle, the Eiffel Tower symbolizes Paris and human genius the world over. In 2019, the Eiffel Tower celebrates its 130th anniversary.
To mark the occasion, the Eiffel Tower has created a unique object: "a rivet designed with the iron of the monument".

The lace of the Iron Lady is assembled by 2,500,000 rivets. A symbol of alliance, the Tower's rivets bear witness to its historical heritage.

The rivets were hot-set by a team of four "riveters": one to heat it, one to hold it in place, one to form the head, and one to complete the crushing with a sledgehammer.

A collector's item produced in a limited edition of 600.
Delivered in a beautiful wooden box, with certificate of authenticity. The Société d'Exploitation de la tour Eiffel certifies that this rivet is made from Eiffel Tower iron deposited during renovation campaigns in the 20th century.
